Religious Freedom Restoration Act

ReligionVoluntary School Prayer, display of the 10 Commandments, Nativity Scenes on public property and the like would be protected.

The First Amendment states, “Congress should make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”

Voluntary School Prayer, displaying of the 10 Commandments, Crosses in cemeteries, Nativity scenes on public property and the like do not constitute an establishment of religion by Congress and do constitute a free exercise of religion therefore would be protected
